Danny Brown's an alternative rapper from Detroit with nice post-hip hop electro production and a voice that swims up in the highest register, kinda like Ab-Soul. His new album, XXX, is one of the best pieces of hip hop I've heard this year and I highly reccomend it. Respect this select, trick.
Lots of Dank. Lots of Swag. Better use of the spiteful chant sample. Neako is Khalifa's air (Dswag edit: dude, its spelled "heir") (E-Swag Re-Edit: Fuck dude, dont be such a grammA nazi) to the throne (Taylor Gang Member). Hopefully he stays a G instead of turning into a HUGE PUSSY *cough* WIZ! *cough.* Oh and this dropped before Section 80 so suck a nigga dick for 2011
Busta needs to hang it up. Dude's cooked and been on that retard grind for a minute. Nice performance from Styles and Rozay though, who go in over a fat beat.
RTS on that new shit! Here's the leak of the upcoming album by the most over-inflated ego in hip-hop. Mostly in here for the features and production. Peep Kendy Lamar and DJ Kahlil's contributions.
I'm just, I'm jizzing. This is sort of-remake of Young Jeezy and Shawty Redd's banger "Amen" from The Last Laugh features Pusha and Kanye laying down some fatty flow. Plus a new verse from the Snowman certifies this as hot; check for it on Pusha T's Fear Of God 2, dropping August 23rd.
OH LAWD!! Ricky's going all out on this one from Meek Mill's new mixtape Dreamchasers. I love the way Rozay, Meek and Yo Gotti paint a picture of the paranoid mind of the drug dealer, especially the whispered chorus. This beat is ridcalusly faht. A bunch of tracks are nice on this tape, I'm respecting it, shouldn't you?
Look, it's like this: if you're not fucking with him YET, you're not gonna. I guess you could say this is his tightest rhyming thus far, if you're into that sort of thing. Basically, respect the select.
Here's my favorite cut off Slim Dunkin and Fozzie Bear's recent collaborative effort Twin Towers 2. I DSwag Cut the Slim Dunkin verse out so we could get right to Waka's yelling. It's some damn good emotive yelling and the production speaks for itself. "Millionaire menace to society!" "Never ride drop-tops learn from Kennedy!" "Riiiiiiverdaaaale!!" Plus, Gucci's in full mental ward mode and its great..
Update: stream's down, you gotta down load it. dont be a bitch! *vinnie paz voice*
Wow that title is pretty homoerotic but cotdamn Hit-Boy's beat fuckin knocks. Like BigGhost said, sounds like some Young Money shit, but that's right up my alley boiii.
Here's a song from Gucci Mane's latest mixtape, done in collaboration with codeine-infused autotuner Future, whose parts are virtually unbearable, but kept to a lucky minimum. (Unless of course your name is Evan Gaybiase, then you'll most definitely enjoy it.) But in all honesty, this mixtape randomly finds Gucci spitting some his best verses since his return from prison.
These two Memphis rappers have amazing interplay and dense lyrical tricks that can take a few listens to unpack. The heavy southern accents float over an array of spooky tracks and Step Brothers quotes. My selection's are "4th Song," "5th Song," "Chase That Money" and of course the back and forth cut "Hot Potato."
