Wooh Da Kid- No Romance (prod. Lex Luger)

Oh no, this is amazing. Wooh Da Kid is a lesser-known Bricksquad rapper with a hilarious penchant for rapping with a nursery-rhyme flow. And he does it better than Yo Gotti, not that thats hard. Anyway Lex delivers with the beat on this true banger.
 

E-40- E Forty + Yankin + Undastandz Me + Beastin'

Here's some of my favorite cuts from E-40's recent Revenue Retrievin' album run. As far as I know, he's got four of these projects filled with amazing hyphy beats courtesy of his SON (!), Droop-E. Listen to 'em all, but try "E Forty" if you want a quick fix of Bay Area knock.
 

KRS-One- Forever (feat. Channel Live) + Introducing

The teacher is back with a new album chock-full of fresh lectures. He's killing it still and for that, we at Respect The Selects would like to toast KRS-One for not only being hot, but repeatedly heated. This new BDP album is a collab with long-time Boogie Down Productions producer DJ Kenny Parker. Parker brings the boom-bap and KRS reminds why he's one of the all time greats. Check it out.

Dizzy Wright- Soul Searchin (Mixtape)

This here is why you read this blog: to get put on to amazing rappers you can show the whole neighborhood, for surely no one in your immediate circle, besides myself, is onto this Dizzy Wright music I'm putting my efforts into promoting. But it avails indeed, because I'm here sharing this with you now. Dizzy's project Soul Searchin is top-to-bottom good hip-hop. This isn't my usual flavor of absolutely gorgeous beats but we have a good lyricist on our hands, a damn rare thing these days. Enjoy.

Boldy James- Bank Jackin (feat. Czar Rae & Rick Rude) + HBO (feat. G-Baby & Chip$)

Boldy James has a new mixtape! He fuly outdoes his previous effort, Trapper's Alley, with Consignment, which turns out to be his best project yet. Here's my two favorite tracks; they both go in, but one is hard, GTA: San Andreas shit and the second, produced by Cardo On Tha Beat of Kush & OJ fame, is a more orgasmic type of cruise. Boldy is working real hard, I'm not, but still you better respect these selects.

Slaughterhouse- Hammer Dance (prod. Araabmuzik)

This is so good its a joke. Araabmuzik is on fire right nwo as evidenced in this track. This is, in my opinion, the first time Araab really beautifully married his production style to the craft of rap. Plus, Joell Ortiz kicks it off with a dope verse, so it only gets better from there. Plus, this is an example of how to make a radio-friendly banger without vaginally exploding on the hook.

8Ball- Allergic (feat. Bun B & Killer Mike)

Here's genuine southern smoke with three of my favorite Atlanta vets. 8Ball just dropped his first solo mixtape, Premro, and it's pretty damn good. The second half is filled with gay-jams but it starts off strong. Killer Mike absolutely bodies this track btw.

I know we normally drop the ill nasty raps but im going to hit you with some electronic HAZE. I would suggest getting together all of your ingredients and rolling a fat blunt, which you will then proceed to blaze down to these jams.
